Avenue generates buzz and creates three special, show-stopping events
to launch Astro Design Centre’s new 17,000 square foot showroom!
Astro Design Centre, one of Ottawa’s largest retailer of high-end kitchen and bathroom fixtures, windows and doors, recently unveiled its flagship showroom at several “Larger Than Life” events fully planned and executed by Avenue Design.
First up was an invitation only event designed exclusively for the trade including Ottawa architects, interior designers, custom homebuilders, renovators and the media. This elegant evening started with unique invitations, valet parking, complete catering and bar service, an Astro ice sculpture and special Astro martini and ended with engraved guest gifts. PR efforts managed by Avenue, also saw senior design editors from both Canadian House and Home and Style at Home in attendance, as well as senior designers from Brian Gluckstein Design in Toronto. The second event, organized as a special preview and thank you for clients, friends and family, attracted over 300 guests and was an extraordinarily well-received and fun evening. And finally, Avenue organized an open-house weekend for the general public, which included a live radio remote and cooking demonstrations in one of Astro’s fully functional designer kitchens.
Leading up to the events, Avenue also developed outdoor, print and online advertising to promote the showroom.
